Triathlon Nova Scotia sponsors Kids of Steel Triathlon for children ages 4-15 years old. The event is a fun race (non-competitive) to introduce children to the sport of triathlon. The event is made up of three parts: first a swim in the pool, then a bike ride and then a run. The distances for each portion of the event are set to the ages of the participants (the older the participant, the longer the distances).
